The Film Brothers Production of ‘Routes’ is a 30 minute story about two garbage men with different beliefs on God). It premiered at the Center for the Performing Arts in Wilmington, DE on Saturday, November 16, 2002 before sold out audiences.

THE STORY: Have you ever listened to someone who talked about God – all day? Conversely, have you ever known someone who was angry – all the time? Routes brings you a drama that is sometimes funny story with these opposing polarities. Two trash men with conflicting views, constantly irritate their female tail-rider. Yet, they try to find common ground on their journey through their garbage route and and their journey through life.
NOTES: September 2002 – Congratulations to Wilmington’s favorite son Barry Schlecker, who submitted the winning entry in the contest to name the new Film Brothers Productions short film Routes! Barry received an all expense paid trip for two to Cafe Verdi in Trolley Square, and credit in the movie. The 1st and 2nd runners up are Claire Furia and Jim Neff. They will each receive two complimentary tickets to the premiere of ‘Routes – Not by Alex Haley’ and also the Actors, Crew and Guest reception afterwards. As Honorable mention for the titles that made us laugh the most, two complimentary tickets go to Tom Travia for ‘Something is Rotten in Newark’ and ‘Jesus Loves You – Even If You Smell Really Bad’.
