A GIRL NAMED ELASTIKA

A Girl Name Elastika is an animated film that was shown at this year’s festival.  It added to the variety and orginality that can be found at the Film Brothers Film Festivals.

THE STORY: She’s young, dreamy and fearless, she drives cars way too fast, she’s also a yamakasi. She likes adventure, fireworks and unrelenting seas. From the day I conceived her, I’ve been a worried father. And a proud one too.

Good for every event throughout the weekend, except the Opening Night Kick Off, Matt Haley fundraiser. Just $39.00 and is transferable to someone else if you cannot attend all programs!  Price: $39.00
Opening Night Kick-Off Friday, October 24, 7PM
Opening Night Kick-Off with dedication to Matt Haley, longtime Film Brothers supporter and winner of James Beard Foundation’s 2014 Humanitarian of the Year Award who passed away suddenly on August 18.  Admission includes the World Premiere of
Interview, 7 P.M., a short film by Rehoboth Beach filmmaker Rob Waters featuring Matt Haley. 50% of the ticket sales will go to Matt’s charity, Global Delaware Fund. www.theglobaldelawarefund.com  (ALL ACCESS PASSES NOT ACCEPTED).  Price: $20.00

The day starts with EYE OPENER SHORTS-Gourmet Films & Coffee- Grab a cup of joe (or wine) and enjoy shorts from across the globe, including Retreat by local Directors, Kris and Kurtis Theorin and Delaware artist
Eunice LaFate’s documentary 20 Year Retrospective-Arts As Prevention.  Price: $12.00
Saturday Oct 25, 2 PM
140 Characters or Less – *World Premiere. This was part of Short Wars screenplay competition. The winner, Florida State University’s Fritzi Wittman was awarded by getting the screenplay produced into a film. It stars teenage actors from Delaware! Q&A with the cast and crew after the movie.  Price: $12.00
Saturday, Oct 25, 4 PM
The Wilmingtonians-2nd Chance – *World Premiere. Local writer Michaelangelo Rodriguez’s short with that wacky cast of oddballs trying to make it in the PLACE TO BE SOMEBODY.  Price: $12.00
Saturday, Oct 25, 7 PM
The International Shorts – *Festival of Shorts MAIN EVENT. Tops short films from U.S.A and abroad!  Price: $12.00
Sunday, Oct, 26, 1 PM
FAMILY SHORTS. A showcase of family friendly short films, including animation. Suggested ages 8 and up.Purchase 4 tickets and receive the family pack pricing of $25.00.  Price: $12.00
